·       Information about your computer, and about your visits to and use of the App such as your browser, IP address, your general location as determined from your IP address and provided by your browser.

·       When you register to use the App, this includes your username, email address, and any other details asked for and which you provide;

·       When you conduct activities on the App. For example, when you access the App to make a call on the App, we may collect your username, email address.

What is RealWear’s role in collecting and processing Data?

·       We are the Data Controller of information that RealWear uses to further its own legitimate business purposes, like providing services directly to you.

·       We employ Data Processors to process the information that we use for our own legitimate business purposes - for instance we use Azure Marketplace to market the App to you.

What are your data protection rights under EU law?

Every user is entitled to the following:

·       The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data from RealWear. Depending on what you would like to have copied, we may charge you a small fee for this service.

·       The right to correct– You have the right to request that RealWear correct any information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.

·       The right to erasure – You have the right to request that RealWear erase your personal data, to the extent allowed by law.

·       The right to restrict processing including for marketing purposes – You have the right to request that RealWear restrict the processing of your personal data, in certain circumstances.

·       The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to RealWear’s processing of your personal data, in certain circumstances.

·       The right to data portability – You have the right to request that RealWear transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we have 30 days to respond to you.


Where is your Data processed or controlled?

RealWear is a U.S. company and processes your information in the United States with the same level of care and security that the European Union requires.

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (also known as S.B. 27), if You are a California resident and Your business relationship with RealWear is primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, You may request certain data regarding RealWear’s disclosure, if any, of Personal Information to third parties for the third-party’s direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact legal@realwear.com; You may make such a request up to once per calendar year. If applicable, we will provide You, by e-mail, a list of the categories of Personal Information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; if applicable, during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the third parties’ names and addresses. Please note that not all persona information sharing is covered by S.B. 27’s requirements.
