As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an extraordinary year for RealWear, our customers, and the frontline workforce we serve. This year has been one of innovation, strategic growth, and deeper collaboration, all underscored by a shared commitment to empowering frontline heroes worldwide.

A Bold Step Forward: The Acquisition of Almer Technologies

One of our most exciting milestones in 2024 was RealWear's acquisition of Almer Technologies, a strategic move that strengthened our portfolio and brought us cutting-edge advancements in augmented reality optics.

This acquisition, strategically and financially backed by TeamViewer, the leading provider of enterprise AR software, marks a significant leap forward in the mission to empower frontline workers worldwide with cutting-edge AR technology.

Combining Almer's innovation with our own rugged, voice-operated devices enables us to deliver unmatched solutions for frontline workers. This partnership marks the next chapter of wearable technology for industry, and I couldn't be prouder of the teams driving this forward.

In case you missed it, you can read the official announcement here.

RealWear: Leading the Way in Industrial Smart Glasses

In 2024, we solidified our position as the global leader in industrial smart glasses. While others have faced challenges -including the discontinuation of products like the Hololens - RealWear has continued to thrive, innovate, and deliver world-class devices for frontline workers across the globe.

We have proven that rugged, purpose-built solutions remain the backbone of frontline technology, providing hands-free, voice-controlled tools that transform productivity, safety, and collaboration in even the most challenging environments.

Our commitment to advancing frontline technology has led to thousands of successful deployments worldwide, reinforcing why RealWear remains the trusted choice for enterprises seeking reliable, future-ready solutions.

We have some exciting things to come in 2025, including new hardware, more tailored solutions, while continuing to expand and grow our partner ecosystem so that we can best serve the frontline and their use cases.

Transforming Frontline Work with the RealWear Z1 and Thermal Camera

In hazardous environments, safety and precision are non-negotiable.

The launch of the Navigator Z1 with Thermal Camera is set to transform frontline work, particularly in ATEX Zone 1 environments where explosive risks demand the highest levels of safety and compliance.

Combining our intrinsically safe Navigator Z1 device with thermal imaging capabilities provided by FLIR, allows workers to detect anomalies such as overheating machinery, leaks, or electrical faults in real-time, allowing for preventative maintenance, significantly improving safety and preventing costly downtime.

The Navigator Z1 underscores our commitment to equipping frontline workers with tools that not only meet, but exceed the safety and operational requirements of high-risk environments, empowering teams to work smarter and safer.

I look forward to more deployments of the Navigator Z1 with Thermal Camera in the new year, and to discover even more use cases across the Oil & Gas and Energy sector.

Introducing RealWear Collaborate

This year, we were proud to introduce RealWear Collaborate, our new platform that simplifies and streamlines communication for frontline teams.

RealWear Collaborate gives effortless collaboration for Microsoft Teams users through a dedicated application built on Azure Communication Services, now featuring the Thermal Camera by FLIR.

This is a fantastic step forward for our customers and prospects, who can now get connected to remote experts or colleagues with a few simple voice commands. Users can now login, sync their calendars and join calls quicker than ever before.

We've already had fantastic feedback about this application and we will continue to improve it even more in 2025.

Empowering Frontline Workers with AI

2024 was also the year RealWear took a leap into AI-powered capabilities for frontline workers. Integrating artificial intelligence into our devices has allowed workers to access smarter assistance, real-time troubleshooting, and greater operational efficiency.

We have witnessed firsthand how these tools save time, reduce errors, and elevate the performance of frontline teams and we will continue to develop our AI capabilities and continue to discover new use cases across various industries.

Expanding Our Reach at Global Events

RealWear made its mark at major global events this year, from GITEX Global in Dubai to AES 2024 in Dallas, Texas.

At each event, we demonstrated our latest advancements, including the Navigator Z1 with Thermal Camera and our new AI-driven tools. Hosting the panel discussion at AES allowed us to showcase not only our technology but also the tangible value of strategic partnerships in solving the most critical challenges faced by frontline workers.

A Vision for 2025: Innovation, Collaboration, and Expansion

Looking ahead to 2025, will be the highly anticipated launch of the RealWear ARC, which is currently in development.

This launch will mark yet another step in delivering intelligent, hands-free tools that provide real-time insights and assistance, ensuring frontline workers are equipped for the future.

Our focus will also be on expanding our global reach, strengthening our partnerships, and delivering tangible ROI for enterprises worldwide. RealWear is not just building tools - we are continuing to shape the future of frontline work.

To our customers, partners, employees, and the frontline heroes who inspire us daily: thank you for an incredible 2024.

Your trust and collaboration make our journey possible, and I look forward to achieving even greater milestones together in 2025.

Wishing you all a safe, happy, and productive year ahead!
